Rey HysterioParticipantNovember 20, 2019 at 9:04 am #225420Theres a girl I want to date but I’ve never interacted with her, even tho we’ve crossed paths in school. She’s a grade below me so not in any of my classes sadly. I have felt discouraged from making a move due to hearing that theres a guy in her grade who’s close to start dating her..and it seems she has hit on other guys or been hit on by other guys in the grade. My disadvantage is that I’ve never talked to her, and whenever we crossed paths she looks the other way so I couldnt say hi as I feared that I might get ignored.
What should I do? Should I try making a move or just let it go?

“it seems she has hit on other guys ”(Trust your instincts! If you believe she is ignoring you odds are you’re probably right.)
Here’s the truth. Rarely does anyone find their “soulmate” during their teenage years!
Therefore whether you dated her or not, odds are the relationship isn’t going to last.
The teenage years and much of the 20s are an exploratory period for most people. Therefore try your best to avoid falling into the immaturity trap of believing all that matters for you is “right now”.
That’s simply not true!Your school age years are just a “blip” on the screen of your life. I don’t believe guys should (ask) to be rejected.
If you sense she has no interest in you, you’re probably right! I would suggest you simply move on.
In the event you hit on her and get rejected just remember. In a world with over 7 billion people rejection just means: Next!
