Asking a girl out from a muslim family

Hi,

I am an agnostic male who has met a girl from a muslim family. She was born and raised in Italy, but her parents are from Bangladesh. I am not sure how strong her faith is as she does not celebrate christmas but fasts for ramadan. However she doesn’t pray daily or take her religion extremely seriously.

We have been spending a LOT of time together for the last few months as friends. She is beautiful and we get on very well, and I really want to change our relationship from friendly to romantic. I get the vibe that this feeling might be mutual.

HOWEVER, would I be right in saying that she cannot date me, as I am not a muslim?? I hope that in 2019 cultural and religious differences shouldn’t be a problem.

I know some muslim girls who will date outside their faith and others who will not.

Based on your description, it seems like there is a decent chance that she may, but the only way to know for sure would be to ask her.
